Raw, Shelled. The only heat applied, was air heated to 100 degrees F external temperature during the
drying process, while still in shell.
Raw, No Salt, Additives or Preservatives.
Packed in 25 lb (12 Kg) Vacuum sealed foil cartons,
or 1 lb, 5 lb and 10 lb samplers.
Great and Healthy Raw as they are, or roast and lightly salt to your taste in your oven (350 degrees F for
about 20 minutes). Freshness can be preserved for many months with cold storage or freezing.
The 3 major growing areas for Macadamia Nuts are Hawaii, Australia and Africa. These nuts, from current crop,
are from Africa, which is the least "sophisticated" in terms of farming methods. The nuts may have slight imperfections
due to the lack of use of Pesticides and Fertilizers.
These imperfections are natural and in no way detract from the taste or health benefits. They are not certified
organic, but have been virtually grown organically by default rather than design. We have been supplying large processors
since 1994, and occasionally have some excess available to offer direct to smaller users, and pass on the price advantages from the
favoured nation trade status, with no duties, and also the favourable Dollar exchange rate.
